Dr. Oz gets called on once again over a "magic weight-loss treatment" he touted on their television show ... now in a class action lawsuit.
The fit is perhaps all obese reduction supplements containing Garcinia Cambogia ... that is green beans extract. They truly are sold by an organization called Labrada, and Dr. Oz covered the products on an episode known as "Five Biggest Fat Busters for Five Body kinds in only Five times."
The suit, filed by a customer with respect to all purchasers, says Oz described Garcinia Cambogia as an innovative fat buster which "could be the secret ingredient that allows you to lose some weight without diet or exercise." The fit says the "Oz result" caused product sales to skyrocket.
Oz already needed to testify relating to this product for a Senate panel in 2014, and through the grilling he leaned on proof from a scientific study. Although lawsuit points out that study has since been discredited.
According to the suit, "all credible systematic proof" shows Garcinia Cambogia just doesn't work. The plaintiffs are going after Oz, Labrada, Harpo Productions and others to get their money back plus damages.
a representative for Oz's program states the suit strikes his right to free message and, "once we have actually constantly told our visitors, the Dr. Oz Show will not offer the products nor does he have any economic connections to those organizations."
